The Lebanon Strawberry Century is not just a cycling event; it's a celebration of community and philanthropy. At the heart of this event continues a commitment to give back, modeled after the generous philanthropy projects the original Strawberry Century event supported over the last three decades. Over the years, the Santiam Spokes Bicycle club supported various initiatives aimed at benefiting the local community, with a particular focus on promoting bike safety among younger students.

One of the most remarkable aspects of this year's Lebanon Strawberry Century is that this year, some of the students who were once beneficiaries of these initiatives are returning to the event as participants and volunteers themselves.
